Zalene Lloyd Breeden passed away on Tuesday evening, December 14th, 2004 at approximately
8:45 pm (ET) at the age of 88.  She was at home with Her husband of 50 years, Robert F. Breeden,
her only Daughter, Becky Wentworth and some friends who had come to visit.  Over the past six years,
she suffered a stroke, the effects of Alzheimers and a deteriorating heart condition.  She had been
under at-home hospice care for the past year and, true to his prayers and wishes, was able to be with
her husband who, for the past few years, devoted his every waking hour to caring for his companion.  
He was holding her hand when she left this world.

Born:  June 22, 1916 to Wade and Ida Thompson
Lloyd, in Durham, North Carolina (firstborn of
eight).

College:  
Graduate:  Free Will Baptist Bible College
(Nashville, Tennessee)
Graduate:  Nyack College (Nyack, NY)

Post College:  Worked as a Missionary in India
from 1948-1953 and subsequently served two
orphanages in the United States (NC &PA)

Married:  Robert Franklin Breeden of Buena Vista,
Virginia on November 27, 1954.

Life's Work was alongside her husband as a
devoted Wife, Mother, Homemaker, Pastor's Wife,
Single Parent (during husband's year of military
duty in Korea), Home Missionary, Youth Worker,
Choir Director and more in the following states:  
North Carolina, New Jersey, Alaska, New
Hampshire, Maine, Wisconsin, Tennessee &
Virginia.
Zalene is survived by her:

Brother:  Mr. Robert Lloyd, Wilmington, N.C.
